On 15 December 2000 the CD Factory became an independent enterprise. Originally, the CD Factory was part of the well established recording company Lease Sound Music Company known for countless Party CDs and just as many Dance and House productions. The people behind the CD Factory have earned extensive experience in the area of digital media production. Demand for the services offered by the CD Factory have become so great that it was decided to make the CD Factory independent in order to offer the highest quality services. The bond with the Lease Sound Music Company is still strong and as a result The CD Factory offers added value in the areas of sound recording, mastering, printing, and very importantly, promotion and distribution.

Medio 2000 has set up a product line for the manufacture of CDs and CD ROMs for the CD factory. This makes it easier for the CD Factory to offer even better prices.
