Text Text should be sent on diskette in .txt format or in .doc format (Word for Windows). Important: When using Word NEVER use "save", only use "save as". If the text is sent on paper, there is an additional administrative cost of fl. 35,00 per page. Illustrations and photos Files (illustrations or photos) on disk can be sent in the following formats: (min. 300 pixels pre inch!) .psd .ai .pdf .tif of .jpg. The original .psd file are preferred. Non .psd files should be written to disk as a CMYK file in Mac byte sequence. Black/white files can be in .bmp but the quality cannot be guaranteed. Send on diskette, ZIP, 100 MB drive or CD ROM. Of course, regular photos can also be sent. Letter types Letter types: TTF (Windows True Type Fonts) can NOT be used. Some Postscript letter types can be used. The .pfb and .pfm files (printer and screen files) should be sent along. Colours Should a certain colour be used, then always display cd CMYK composition for normal print. Layout If the client wants to send the layout, then it should be in Quark Xpress 4.0 for Windows. You should take into account a 3 mm bleed on all sides.
